Shapes and drawers are colour-coded.
This material helps develop hand-eye coordination and allows the child to experience object permanence. It encourages precise hand movements to help develop hand, wrist and finger control - also known as "refined hand movements." Also encourages shape and colour recognition through matching. With repeated use of this material, the child learns how it feels to succeed when they have achieved a goal on their own.
